Opportunity:
ER RN
Job Details:
• Block schedule required
• Rotating weekends required
• No on-call required
• Position does not float between units
• 48-hour shifts approved
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
• 12-hour orientation
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Any color
• No parking fee
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Valid WA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Required skills include: airway management, management of vented patients, arterial line management, management of dysrhythmias, central line management, management of IV drips, isolation precautions, triage skills, interpretation of dysrhythmias, continuous IV sedation, and titration of IV vasopressors
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 90+, with 15 rooms and 23 beds
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• All travelers should be prepared to float within the facility
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds, offering a full range of emergency services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams. The emergency department consists of 23 beds across 15 rooms and maintains a daily census of 90 or more patients.
