Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2480.12

Opportunity:

ER RN

Job Details:

• Every other weekend shifts typically required
• Block schedules available if candidate is interested
• Patient ratio of 1 RN to 4 patients on days, nights, and weekends
• 48-hour shifts approved
• No on-call required
• Clinician will be required to float to ED holding
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• High acuity emergency department serving as a regional referral center for trauma, cardiac, and stroke cases
• Adult Emergency Department primarily serving patients 18 years and older; trauma patients 15 years and older
• Approximately 175 patient visits per day with at least 50 ambulance presentations daily
• 50-bed emergency department
• Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
• Scrub color: Any color for RNs
• No parking fee
• Special procedures include STEMI care to cath lab, stroke care to IR, and trauma care to definitive care (OR or ICU)
• Special equipment includes Level I Rapid Infuser, Zoll defibrillators, Phillips defibrillators, and Phillips monitors
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Required skills: Continuous IV sedation, ICP monitoring, interpretation of dysrhythmias, management of dysrhythmias, triage
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Valid Washington or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required during compliance process prior to start

Facility:

This facility is a Short Term Acute Care hospital, Level II Trauma Center, and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds. As a teaching hospital and regional referral center, it provides the highest level of care in the area, specializing in trauma, cardiac, and stroke services. The emergency department features 50 beds and comprehensive interdisciplinary support services to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
