Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - OB/GYN
Job Details:
• Minimum of 2 years of dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) experience required - general or mixed experience does not qualify
• RDMS OB certification is required
• Required certifications: ARDMS OB/GYN, BLS, Nuchal Translucency (NT)
• NT certification not mandatory, however must have experience performing nuchal translucency exams and early anatomy in an MFM setting
• Perform first trimester anatomy with nuchal translucency screenings
• Perform detailed anatomy surveys (CPT code 76811), follow-up growth scans, and biophysical profiles in accordance with AIUM guidelines
• Utilize additional modalities including 3D/4D, color, and spectral Doppler routinely as indicated
• Experience guiding amniocentesis preferred
• Work in an MFM outpatient center seeing low and high risk patients for OB ultrasound in a teaching and academic setting
• Required skills include: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester, 3rd trimester, amniocentesis, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, GE, high risk OB, maternal fetal medicine, multiple pregnancy, nuchal translucency screening, obstetrics, PACS, placenta previa, and umbilical cord Doppler
• Patient population consists of adults
• Must have active California state license upon submission
• May float to Encinitas and Hillcrest locations when needed
• 2 manager references required
• Must provide 7 days of requested time off screenshot upon submission with no RTO in the first 2 weeks
