Opportunity:

Radiotherapy Technologist

Job Details:

• 13-week assignment supporting the Radiation Oncology department
• 5 x 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday
• Day shift with 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM start time
• Minimum 3 years of Radiation Oncology experience required
• Properly set up and align patients using various imaging techniques to deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed
• Assess patient status during direct patient interaction and make appropriate referrals to healthcare team members
• Prepare for treatment delivery including chart/film checks, room set-up, calculations, and electronic medical record (MOSAIQ) checks
• Manage treatment calendar including programming port films
• Perform patient set-up and CT scans for radiation therapy treatment planning purposes as needed
• Work closely with other radiation therapists and team members to perform additional tasks as needed
• Experience with Varian TrueBeam and/or MOSAIQ preferred
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT, CA RTT license, and BLS certification
