Opportunity:

Nuclear Medicine Tech Days

Job Details:

• Day shift position in Nuclear Medicine
• Patient ratio of 11 patients per day with approximately 10 visits per day
• Work within a 3-room department that does not perform nuclear cardiology exams
• PET CT and nuclear medicine experience required with Siemens equipment
• 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• On-call every third week required
• Float to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs
• Serve patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (Nuclear Medicine), NMTCB, PET, BLS
• Required skills include: PET Scan, Bone Scan, HIDA Scan, Gastric Emptying, Ventilation/Perfusion, Renal Imaging, Liver Imaging, Cerebral Blood Flow, DTPA Aerosol, I-123 Uptake Scan, Cancer Survey, Starting and Maintaining IVs, Drawing Venous Blood, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Three Phase imaging
• Interdisciplinary support available from Radiology and Transportation teams

Facility:

This facility operates a dedicated Nuclear Medicine department equipped to handle a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures. The department supports adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations and is supported by an interdisciplinary team including Radiology and Transportation. The facility utilizes Siemens imaging equipment and maintains a structured environment focused on delivering high-quality nuclear medicine services.
