Opportunity:

Ultrasound Technologist

Job Details:

• Day shift, 4x10 schedule working 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• One day per week includes a 3-hour on-call window from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM
• Perform ultrasonic diagnostic procedures in accordance with accepted protocols as directed by physicians
• Produce images of internal body tissues to diagnose and monitor conditions such as heart disease, pregnancy, and cancer
• Must be able to scan breast, OB, anatomy scans, DVT, upper and lower extremity vascular studies, renal artery, carotid, abdomen, pelvis, and more with a focus on female breast, pelvic, and OB studies
• Operate GE Logiq E9 and E10 ultrasound machines
• Must have EPIC experience
• Summarize, document, verify, and present images, findings, calculations, and measurements to physicians for diagnoses
• Provide direct patient care including assessing patient condition, positioning patients and equipment, and monitoring vital signs
• Observe for reactions and signs of impending complications and intervene as needed
• Supervise and mentor ultrasound personnel and maintain equipment
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the field required
• Diploma or certificate from an Ultrasound college or school required
• Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), and one of the following: ARDMS certification in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics (OB), or Vascular (RVT); CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS); or ARRT in Sonography (S) or Vascular Sonography (VS)
