Opportunity:
RN - Neonatal ICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a level 3 NICU or higher required
• Ventilator training required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Provide optimal patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and skills within the nursing process
• Accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs while demonstrating cognitive and psychosocial competencies specific to the population served
• Coordinate care between other healthcare professionals as needed
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
• Facility reserves the right to call off shifts without penalty up to 48 hours for low census per 13-week contract, which may include full or partial shifts

This is a large regional medical center and the only Level II Trauma Center in the area, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients annually across two emergency rooms.
