Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday schedule with 5x8 hour day shifts
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Wine colored scrubs required (not provided)
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Daily census of 30 patients with approximately 30 visits per day
• Required certifications: ARRT T, BLS, CRT
• Required skills and experience: Adult Acute Care, CT Simulation, Custom Molds, Custom Shields, Simulation of Treatment Sites, Tumor Localization
• Required beam modifying and positioning skills: Block cutting, B-Mode Acquisition targeting, CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Compensation filters, Custom Molds, Custom Shields, Portal cast, Wedges
• Must be able to calculate dose of radiation
• Required software experience: Eclipse (Varian), Pinnacle (Philips), Varis-Vision/ARIA
• Required clinical skills: External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Lift/transfer devices, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Radiation Safety, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams
