Opportunity:
Physical Therapist
Job Details:
• August schedule follows a Friday/Saturday Monday/Tuesday rotation
• Includes at least 3 weekend shifts in a 4-week rotation
• Possible holiday shifts depending on timing
• May float to Inpatient Rehab or Swing Bed units as needed
• Evaluate patients and develop and follow through on individualized treatment plans
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient diagnoses include adult medical units, surgical, and intensive care
• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Must be a graduate of a program approved by the Committee on Accreditation in Education of the American Physical Therapy Association
• Must hold a valid Oregon physical therapy license or be license eligible
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Epic EMR charting experience required
• Required certification: BLS
• Required skills include: Acute Care, Adaptive Devices, Assessment, Assistive Devices, Bed Alarms, Body Mechanics, Cardiopulmonary, Crutches, Evaluation, Gait Belt, Gait Training, Geriatrics, Hoyer Lift, Neurology, Pain Assessment, Plan of Care, Rehabilitation, Rolling Walker, Sit to Stand Lift, Sliding Boards, Standard Walker, Strength Testing, Supplemental Oxygen Delivery, Time Management, Vestibular, and Vital Sign Monitoring

This large healthcare facility features 644 beds and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services across a wide range of medical and surgical specialties. The facility supports an interdisciplinary care model with access to physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretaries.
