Opportunity:
RN - Telemetry
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• 4 weekend shifts required within a 4-week period
• Required to work some holidays
• Some on-call shifts may occur due to low census with staff typically called back in
• Up to 2 cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment
• Titrate drips including Heparin and Ketamine (set rate), antibiotics, and blood products
• Manage frequent IV treatments
• Prior telemetry reading experience preferred as unit has monitor techs to read strips
• May float to Medical, Medical Oncology, and Telemetry units which run cardiac drips
• Work with BiPAP, CPAP, and nasal cannulas
• Self-scheduling available with block scheduling options, flexibility is requested
• Navy blue scrubs with facility logo required
• Unit-specific orientation of 2-3 shifts during the first week
• Overtime allowed when needed with potential opportunities to precept
• Nurses provided with phones and trackers
• Charting system: EPIC
• Trauma Level 2, Acute Care Setting
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification, NIHSS

The fast-paced unit is supported by charge nurses, CNA staff, and respiratory therapy teams, ensuring a collaborative environment for healthcare professionals. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and provides staff with modern telemetry monitoring systems and equipment.
