Opportunity:

ICU - Rotating - Open to 1 RN for Days and 1 RN for Nights

Job Details:

• Rotating schedule available for both day and night shifts
• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Weekend coverage required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Pre-approved time off: two slots available
• Must be available to work every other holiday
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)
• Active PA or Compact license required
• Must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit contains 10 beds with 8 visits per day
• Patient diagnoses include Medical ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, and Substance Withdrawal
• Special procedures include CRRT and Prone positioning
• Special equipment includes CRRT, arterial lines, and Swan lines
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
• Required skills include ventilator management, arterial line management, central line care, vasoactive drip titration, CVVHD/CRRT, ECMO, ICP monitoring, and additional critical care competencies
