Opportunity:

Maternal Infant Unit

Job Details:

• Work on a 24-bed Maternal Infant Unit on the 3rd floor
• Patient ratios: labor 1:1 (most of the time), post-partum 5-6:1, nursery 5-6:1
• Care for vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and antepartum patients
• Provide newborn and post-partum care
• Work with GE fetal monitors and Meditech/CPN EMR systems
• Every third weekend required with 12 hours of call per 4-week schedule
• Must have at least 2 years of labor experience
• Preferred: 2+ years of labor experience with history working in LDRP with high birth volumes
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal monitoring certification
• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs with pink badges for infant security
• Work alongside labor nurses, nursery nurses, OB techs, secretaries, leadership, and educators
