Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg (or applicable role as listed)

Job Details:

• Night shift schedule
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans that prescribe interventions to attain outcomes
• Evaluate patient progress toward attaining outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe and caring environment
• Provide health information and education to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in field required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy)
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
