Opportunity:

MFM Diagnostic Sonographer

Job Details:

• 4x8 day shift schedule, 32 hours per week
• Shift start times vary between 7:00 AM, 7:15 AM, and 7:30 AM
• Shift end times vary between 3:30 PM, 3:45 PM, and 4:00 PM
• Guaranteed contracted hours
• Weekend requirement approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks
• No on-call required
• Daily caseload of 45 visits per day
• Will float between two sites as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required; local candidates not accepted
• Scrub color: Navy Blue for Ultrasound Technologists
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARDMS credentialed in Abdomen, OBGYN, Pediatric, or MSK; multiple ARDMS specialties preferred
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
• Vascular experience required, including arterial ultrasounds with bypass grafts and stents
• Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program, Associate of Applied Science Degree, or bachelor's degree from an accredited ultrasound program required
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Finalized RTO must be included at time of submission; no RTO within first week of start date; no more than 10 days RTO per assignment

This healthcare system operates across two locations including an outpatient clinic and a 479-bed acute care hospital that holds Magnet status and serves as a teaching facility and Level II Trauma center. Both locations utilize Epic for charting and offer free parking. The organization provides a broad range of interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more, ensuring a collaborative and well-resourced environment for clinical staff.
