Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
• Thursday through Saturday shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Blocked scheduling type
• No on-call requirement
• Floating required to NHRMC and NHRMC Ortho as needed
• Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty, or disaster situations
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate (within 50 miles)
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT MR and R
• Required skills include: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma, Abdomen, Female Pelvis, MRCP, Male Pelvis, MR Aortogram, Breast, Chest, Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face/Soft Tissue Neck, Head MRA, Head MRV, Neck MRV, Orbits, Foot, Hand, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Knee, Lower Extremity Long Bones, Shoulder, Upper Extremity Long Bones, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Contrast Media Preparation and/or Administration, Starting Peripheral IVs, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, MIP, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 and T-2 Weighted Images, Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/Coccyx, Spinal Trauma, and Thoracic
• Preferred skills include: Abdominal MRA, Abdominal MRV, MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff, Sternum, Temporomandibular Joint with/without contrast, CINE, Perfusion, Peripheral MRA, and Thoracic MRA
• Special equipment: GE, Siemens, PACS
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrubs: Royal blue
• Unit orientation: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; hospital orientation during week one with full daily availability required; 12 hours of unit orientation
• Patient age groups served: Neonates, Infants, Adolescents, Pediatrics, Adults, and Geriatrics
