Opportunity:

Med Surg - OR

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule with rotating day off
• Rotating call required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• BLS certification required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• 15 operating rooms with approximately 36 visits per day
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary
• Required skills include a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, general, gynecological, vascular, neurological, thoracic, and urological cases
• Procedures include but are not limited to total joint replacement, laparoscopic-assisted cases, craniotomy, colonoscopy, cholecystectomy, lumbar fusion, nephrectomy, Whipple procedure, and trauma cases

This facility is a full-service hospital offering a comprehensive range of surgical services across multiple specialties. The operating suite supports a high volume of procedures daily across 15 rooms, with robust interdisciplinary support services to ensure quality patient care. The facility maintains a collaborative care environment and supports traveling healthcare professionals with structured orientation and onboarding processes.
