Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Generalist

Job Details:

• 8-week assignment working Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Guaranteed hours provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating to sister facilities required on an as-needed basis
• ARDMS AB and RVT certifications required; ARDMS OB preferred
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Philips ultrasound equipment required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• See inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients
• Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, vascular, OB, and pediatric studies
• Experience with pediatric, neonatal, and NICU patients preferred
• Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
• Parking cost: $125 per month

This large short-term acute care facility operates as a Level I Trauma Center with over 1,500 staffed beds, making it one of the region's most comprehensive healthcare institutions. The facility includes a dedicated cancer hospital and children's hospital on site, providing a wide spectrum of specialized care. The organization supports interdisciplinary patient care and utilizes Epic for charting across its departments.
