Opportunity:

RN - Medical Surgical

Job Details:

• Day/Night rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday required
• Patient ratios typically 1:4-5 on day shifts and 1:5-6 on night shifts
• May float to alike Medical Surgical and Telemetry units within the facility
• Utilize the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide individualized patient care
• Collaborate with inter-professional colleagues including physicians to plan, implement, and evaluate care
• Provide care for patients in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
• Responsible for planning and coordination of care, patient assessments, patient education, triage, and various nursing interventions
• Coordinate and manage care for patients including those with complex needs
• Perform age-related patient assessments and nursing interventions
• Promote a safe environment for patients, families, staff, residents, and visitors
• Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary health care team to provide the best patient outcomes
• Charting system: EPIC
• Dress code: Navy Blue scrubs
• Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• BSN not required
• Acute care setting
• Trauma Level 1 facility
