Opportunity:

Cath Lab RN

Job Details:

• 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per clinician
• On-call required with 30-minute response time
• Call weekend rotation starts Friday at 7:00 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM (rotating AM and PM as first and backup call)
• Weekend requirement is call only
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required; must be competent in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic and Intervention including Structural
• No first-time Cath Lab travelers accepted - prior experience required
• Travel experience required
• Will primarily remain in Cath Lab; floating may occur if needed to meet facility needs
• Must be able to act as circulator in the lab and perform moderate sedation, assessment, medication administration, pre and post-op care, and call coverage
• Charting system: Cerner; Cerner experience preferred
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available for travelers
• Active WV or Compact License required to start; pending license accepted for submission
• Candidates must have a permanent address more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
