MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Travel candidates may be assigned to 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts
• For 12-hour shift assignments, a minimum of 36 hours guaranteed per one-week work period
• For shift lengths less than 12 hours, a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per one-week work period
• Occasional weekend coverage as needed per department needs
• On-call required every Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 6:30 AM, as well as every third weekend
• Daily caseload of 12 patients per tech with 1 room
• Minimum 1 year of MRI Tech experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT-R and BLS
• First-time travelers not accepted
• Work setting experience required: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, and Adult ICU
• General skills experience required: IV Starts
• Equipment experience required: 1.5 Siemens Avanto scanner
• Charting experience with Epic (Excellian) required
• Scrub color: Dark Gray
• Will float between Mercy Coon Rapids and Mercy Unity campuses as needed
• Request time off ideally no more than 5 days
• 1 supervisor reference minimum required at time of submission

This acute care hospital is a teaching facility with Level 4 trauma designation, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services. With 149 staffed beds, the facility provides a dynamic and well-supported clinical environment. The facility utilizes Epic (Excellian) for charting and offers free parking in any unrestricted space.
