Opportunity:

RN - Women & Children's Services

Job Details:

• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system required
• Provide nursing care for childbearing women (adolescence to middle adulthood), neonates, and families
• Perform initial assessment and stabilization of neonates
• Conduct patient and family assessments including developmental level, health status, and health history
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care based on identified physical and learning needs
• Teach self-care and newborn care to patients and families
• Support family bonding and promote understanding of family relationships on health status
• Identify and intervene with vulnerable patients and families at risk
• Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines in treatment and referrals for at-risk families
• Assist patients and families in understanding and coping with women's health issues and childbirth
• Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills required
• Must demonstrate high level of mental and emotional tolerance when working with ill patients and families
• Current Pennsylvania RN licensure required
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS and NRP must be renewed every two years
• ACLS must be renewed every two years
• Completion of an accredited registered nurse program required
