Opportunity:
Inpatient Occupational Therapist
Job Details:
• 5x8 day shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday
• Flexible shift start times ranging from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM
• Provide inpatient occupational therapy services in an acute care hospital setting
• See inpatient orthopedic patients day of surgery
• ICU experience is helpful
• Treat adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform evaluations, assessments, and reassessments
• Develop and implement plans of care, home exercise programs, and patient/family education
• Assist with adaptive equipment assessment, lifting and transfer, safety and injury prevention, and discharge planning
• Work alongside interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, radiology, social services, and interpretation services
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Required certifications: BLS, NBCOT, Washington State License
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• 2 references required, covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
