RN - Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 36 hours per week
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans to attain patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide health education to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
• EPIC experience required
• Minimum two years of recent experience in field required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy), AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice required
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
