Job Details:

• Monday through Friday shift hours from 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM (4x10 days)
• 36 weekly guaranteed hours
• On-call rotation required with 6-8 calls per month, which can include weekends
• Weekend on-call participation required as part of call rotation
• 2+ years of OR experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Specialty experience required in Robotics, General, Trauma, Ortho, Vascular, Gyn, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (AHA only)
• Virginia State License or Compact license required
• No float requirements
• Scrub color: Blue, all other attire per facility dress code policy

Facility:

This facility is a large 495-bed medical center housing a dedicated Surgical Services unit. The organization supports a wide range of surgical specialties including robotic surgery, general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, vascular, gynecology, urology, bariatrics, and thoracic procedures. The facility utilizes Epic as its primary electronic medical records system and maintains high standards for surgical care delivery.
