Opportunity:

MRI Technologist

Job Details:

• 3x12 night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday through Tuesday
• Contract length of 13 to 20 weeks
• No on-call requirement
• Float between NHRMC Ortho and main hospital required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First-time travelers will not be accepted
• Recent hospital experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required skills: abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE
• Preferred skills: chest, image post-processing
• Special equipment: GE and Siemens
• Charting system: EPIC
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR
• Patient age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics (preferred), adolescents, adults, and geriatrics (required)
• Scrubs: Royal blue
• Contract staff will be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters
• Unit orientation is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM during week one and traveler must be fully available for classes each day
• Scheduling is per unit needs
