Opportunity:
RN/MS ONC NIGHTS-Metro Region
Job Details:
• Night shift position with various days of the week
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period required
• Patient ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift; ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs
• Candidates must be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
• 36-bed Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Scrub color: Navy
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs; may float to sister facilities based on facility needs
• No on-call required
• 2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, CO or Compact RN license; Oncology certification preferred but not required
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) preferred
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line care and blood draw, continuous and IV push administration of chemotherapy, PICC line care, PCA pump management, neutropenic precautions, foley catheter insertion/management, wound care, sepsis management, and phlebotomy skills among others
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• Adults patient population
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2 – September 12, 2026; October 25 – November 4, 2026; November 22 – December 2, 2026; December 20 – January 3, 2027
