Opportunity:

RN/MS ONC NIGHTS-Metro Region

Job Details:

• Night shift position with variable days of the week
• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period based on unit needs
• Patient ratios: 1:4 day shift, 1:5 night shift - nurse-to-patient ratios may flex up based on staffing and unit needs, candidates must be comfortable with and have prior experience working in environments with flexible staffing ratios
• Float required within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to sister facilities
• No on-call required
• 36-bed Oncology/GYN-ONC/Palliative/Med Tele unit serving adult patients
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Scrub color: Navy
• 2 years of acute care experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, Colorado or Compact RN license; Oncology certification preferred but not required
• Chemo certification (ONS/ONCC) preferred
• Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, administration of chemotherapy and blood products, central line care and blood draw, PICC line care, continuous and IV push administration of chemotherapy, monitoring chemotherapy, neutropenic precautions, PCA pump management, wound care, foley catheter insertion/management, phlebotomy, sepsis management, and additional oncology-focused competencies
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and more
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
• RTO is not approved during the following blackout periods: September 2–September 12, 2026; October 25–November 4, 2026; November 22–December 2, 2026; December 20–January 3, 2027
