Opportunity:
MRI Tech
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call required for nights and weekends, rotating with 3-4 other techs
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Travel experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• Skill sets required: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma
• Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Patient ratios: 3 during days, 2 during nights, 1 on weekends
• Must be proficient in a wide range of MRI procedures including abdominal MRA/MRV, brain, cervical, chest, cranial nerves, female and male pelvis, cardiac MRI, MRCP, perfusion, spinal trauma, and more
• Must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs and administering contrast media
• Must follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE requirements
• Siemens equipment experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Orientation is 40 hours
• Staff may be required to float to other units and/or campuses based on census needs, only to units where competencies have been demonstrated and documented

This healthcare facility is a large inpatient facility with 169 beds and a daily census of 130 patients. The facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation services. The organization serves a diverse patient population across multiple campuses and is committed to maintaining high standards of patient care through qualified and experienced staff.
