Opportunity:
Radiologic Technologist
Job Details:
• Variable shifts working 5x8-hour schedules
• Start times vary between 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:00 PM
• Must have EPIC experience
• Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs of designated body portions as ordered by physicians
• Position and instruct patients prior to examination
• Adjust x-ray equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each radiograph
• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
• Prepare equipment and examination rooms for patient exams
• Monitor patients and ensure safety during exams
• Produce diagnostic images and document exam information
• Report important information to physicians and verify exams on PACS
• Minimum two years of recent experience in the field required
• Associate's Degree in radiologic technology preferred
• Required certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Radiography (ARRT-R), Basic Life Support (BLS) from an approved vendor, Fluoroscopy license
• Current Radiologic Tech (RT) license in state of practice required
• Fluoroscopy license required within 6 months of hire in California
