Opportunity:
TRAVEL - RN - L&D
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week with weekend rotation required
• 36-40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week assignment length
• High-risk, high-volume Labor and Delivery experience required
• Minimum 2 years of high-risk Labor and Delivery experience required
• High-risk obstetrical bedside training required including circulating in C-section and recovering high acuity patients
• Intermediate AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate required
• Experience with GE fetal monitors preferred
• Documentation systems used: Meditech and CPN
• AWHONN staffing ratios followed approximately 80% of the time: cervical ripening 2:1, triage 3:1, stable postpartum mag 2:1, unstable or laboring mag 1:1, pit or active labor 1:1, early labor 2:1
• Perform and assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery care
• May float to antepartum unit within Women's service line as needed
• Call requirements to be discussed during interview
• Scrubs required; no artificial nails, gel, or next gen nails permitted
• Hair must be neat, clean, no extreme styles or colors, and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited, including nose rings and tongue rings
• Body art should be covered whenever possible
Facility:
This facility is a women's hospital located on the 9th floor of Building D, operating a high-risk obstetrical Labor and Delivery unit with 24 beds. The unit specializes in high-risk obstetrical care and maintains AWHONN staffing ratios, providing comprehensive women's health services including labor and delivery, C-sections, and postpartum recovery. The facility is equipped with GE fetal monitors and utilizes Meditech and CPN for clinical documentation.
