Opportunity:
RN - OR
Job Details:
• Seasonal travel position working night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekday night shifts
• 408-bed hospital with 14 operating rooms including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, and 12 multipurpose ORs
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with standard OR equipment, Stryker Video systems, and Meditech EMR
• Night shift team consists of Clinical Charge RN, OR RN, and CST with call teams for Neuro, CVOR, and General
• On-call required one day per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and weekend on-call once every 6 weeks
• Minimum of 1 year current hospital acute care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Typical procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine cases
• No transplant procedures performed
• Strong patient communication skills and adaptability required
Facility:
This facility is a large 408-bed hospital featuring a fully equipped main operating room suite with 14 ORs, including a Hybrid CV OR and Cysto room. The OR department is supported by a robust team of 60 FTEs including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs. The facility utilizes modern technology including Stryker Video systems and Meditech EMR, and maintains a strong focus on patient experience and quality care.
