Job Details:

• Seasonal travel position working in the Operating Room
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays
• 408-bed hospital with 14 operating rooms including 1 Hybrid CV OR, 1 Cysto, and 12 multipurpose ORs
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift staffing includes 14-16 RNs, 14-16 CSTs, and 2 Clinical Charge RNs
• Work with standard OR equipment, Stryker Video systems, and Meditech EMR
• Typical procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine cases
• No transplant procedures performed
• On-call required from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM one day per week and weekend on-call once every 6 weeks
• Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with staff and providers required
• Must prioritize patient experience and be adaptable to change

Facility:

This facility is a well-established 408-bed hospital offering a comprehensive operating room environment with 14 ORs, including specialized hybrid cardiovascular and cystoscopy suites. The OR team consists of approximately 60 FTEs, including OR RNs, CSTs, PCTs, Anesthesia Techs, Service Line Lead RNs, and Clinical Charge RNs. The facility maintains a strong focus on patient experience and fosters a collaborative, adaptable work environment with experienced staff across a variety of surgical specialties.
