Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts required
• Acute care setting
• No floating to other units
• On-call is generally not required for travelers unless requested
• 8-bed emergency room with an average daily census of 29 patients
• Nurse to patient ratio is generally 1:2, with a potential maximum of 1:4
• ER has provider with NP/PA coverage from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM daily
• Charting system: EPIC
• Medication system: Pyxis
• BSN not required
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS, PALS (AHA)
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius
• Valid driver's license copy must be submitted with application
• Any licensing hits must be disclosed at time of submission

The emergency room is staffed with NP/PA provider coverage daily and utilizes EPIC for charting and Pyxis for medication management, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.
