Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
• 3x12-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Saturday through Monday schedule
• Patient ratios of 1:2 on weekdays and 1:1 on weekends
• No call requirement and no float requirement
• Contracts accepted in 13 to 26 week increments
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Must wear Royal Blue scrubs
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Unit systems include Pyxis and Visage PACS
• Community hospital setting serving outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients
• Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 12
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• Required skills include ER/Trauma, abdomen, brain, chest, female and male pelvis, MRCP, MRA, MRV, myocardium, PACS, Siemens, cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, orbits, foot, hand, hip/bony pelvis, knee, shoulder, sternum, upper and lower extremity long bones, spinal trauma, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sacrum/coccyx, isolation precautions, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Pre-approved time off: up to 7 days maximum; no RTO during first week and no additional RTO requests after signing
• Orientation: 8 hours

This community hospital provides comprehensive medical imaging services to outpatients, inpatients, and emergency department patients. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
