RN - ER

Job Details:

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with nine beds seeing over 15,000 patients per year
• Evaluate patient outcomes and consult with other specialties as required
• Adjust nursing care process as needed to ensure optimal patient care
• Collaborate with health team members to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care
• Must be able to learn quickly and serve as a proactive team member
• Minimum 3 years of ER RN experience required
• Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• TNCC preferred
• Must be familiar with or able to quickly learn Meditech electronic health records system

This not-for-profit independent critical access hospital provides a comprehensive range of services including primary and preventive care, surgical and specialty services, inpatient and outpatient care, and 24-hour physician-staffed emergency services. The Emergency Department is currently undergoing expansion to better serve the growing patient population.
