Opportunity:

RN - Travel Nurse (Multi-Unit Float)

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Required to float to multiple inpatient units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Unit
• Every other weekend and holiday shifts required
• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, standards of care, and State laws/practice act
• Document according to standards of care
• Develop, initiate, and execute patient plans of care according to individualized patient needs as prescribed by physician and/or hospital policy
• Provide patient and family instruction as part of the care plan
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, including shared governance
• Utilize clinical expertise to provide guidance to other units and departments in support of the patient's longitudinal plan of care
• Apply critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and escalate appropriately
• Required certifications: NIHSS and CPR/BLS
• Current Wisconsin (WI) nursing license required
• Education verification required
