Opportunity:
RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work in a 3-procedure room Cardiac Cath Lab with a team-based care model
• Day shift staffing includes 1 supervisor, 3 RNs, and 2 Cath Lab Techs
• Night shift consists of on-call staff only (2 RNs and 1 Cath Lab Tech, or 1 RN and 2 Cath Lab Techs)
• Patient ratio is 3 team members per 1 patient procedure
• Schedule includes one full weekend plus 2 weekdays for a total of 10 shifts per four-week schedule
• Float to Pre/Post Cath Department as needed
• Perform procedures including left and right heart caths, pacemaker/ICD implants, Watchman procedures, IR procedures, vascular procedures, and EP ablations (PFA)
• Operate Philips and Siemens fluoroscopy equipment
• Document using MERGE Hemo Cath Lab documentation system and Meditech Expanse EMR
• Follow procedural guidelines including universal precautions, timeout procedures, and moderate sedation guidelines
• Hospital-provided scrubs in sky blue required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Electrophysiology experience preferred
• Must be a team player and flexible
