Job Details:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift, day shift schedule
• Late/call coverage for EP cases required as needed
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Scrubs provided in Royal Blue
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS
• Must be proficient in electrophysiology lab procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, arrhythmia induction, and electrophysiology evaluation
• Expected to perform pacemaker insertion, permanent pacemaker insertion, and insertion/programming of AICDs
• Must be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform accurate monitoring
• Additional skills include cardioversion, conduction studies, tilt table studies, left atrial appendage (LAA) closure, and Watchman procedures
• Equipment setup, scrubbing to maintain sterile field, and room circulator duties required
• May float to like units within scope of practice based on facility needs

Facility:

This facility operates a specialized electrophysiology lab supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. The facility provides comprehensive cardiac care for adult patients and offers a collaborative environment with strong support systems in place for traveling healthcare professionals.
