Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Rotating schedule between day and night shifts based on unit needs - rotation is managed mindfully to avoid frequent flipping between days and nights
• Primary unit is 6AB, a 32-bed Med Surg unit
• Nurse to patient ratio of 4-5:1 on day shift and 6:1 on night shift
• Must float to any Med Surg unit at any of the 3 locations in Fargo as needed
• Perform patient assessments, documentation, nursing tasks, and medication administration
• Utilize Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps
• Must badge in and out at the facility
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med Surg nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds) required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Travel experience including successful completion required
• EPIC experience required
• Strong Med Surg experience required; Neuro experience preferred but not required
• Active North Dakota or Compact RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NIHSS

The facility maintains a 32-bed Med Surg unit and utilizes advanced technology including Epic EMR, Omnicell, and Alaris IV pumps to support its clinical staff. As a large hospital system with 250+ beds, it provides comprehensive care across multiple campuses, giving healthcare professionals the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
