Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with call responsibilities
• Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 3 labs, an in-patient holding area, and a radial lounge for out-patients
• Radial Lounge hours are 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM; Cardiac Cath Lab hours are 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
• On-call coverage required 24 hours a day; call begins at 4:30 PM to 7:30 AM the following morning
• Self-scheduling for call approximately one day per week and one weekend per month
• Weekend call runs from 4:30 PM Friday to 7:30 AM Monday
• No floating to other units required
• Adult patient population
• Must have critical care experience
• Must have Impella and IABP experience
• Must be experienced in titrating drips independently
• Perform procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, drug studies, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO, stents/angioplasty, atherectomy (Rota, CSI, Shockwave), mechanical thrombectomy (INARI and EKOS), IABP, Impella, Mitral Clip, temp wires, pressure wires, VSD, and CarioMems
• Work with equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, Pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, Cath Works, and Penumbra
• Use EMR systems Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab
• Scrubs provided by hospital in ceil blue
• Required certifications: ACLS and active RN License

This hospital is a Level A main facility offering comprehensive cardiac care services through a fully equipped Cardiac Cath Lab. The unit features three catheterization labs, a dedicated holding area for in-patients, and a radial lounge for out-patients. The facility maintains a robust team of nursing and technical staff and supports a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, making it a dynamic environment for experienced cardiovascular care professionals.
