RN - Sierra Med/Tele

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 day shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Required to pick up one additional shift during each schedule period
• May be required to float to other areas of the organization up to competency level
• Low census call-offs of up to 48 hours per 13-week contract may occur as full or partial shifts
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients including their families and caregivers
• Deliver individualized patient care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care between other professionals as needed
• Must have 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
• Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment required
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips

This facility is the region's only Level II Trauma Center, treating over 80,000 emergency and trauma patients per year.
