Opportunity:
RN - ICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed
• Floating required to all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; 4-5 years preferred
• Travel experience required
• Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
• Heart experience highly preferred and prioritized by manager
• EMR experience with EPIC required
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Active NY RN license required
• Scrub color: Navy
• Work in a 42-bed ICU unit (East 20 beds, West 22 beds) including Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surg/Trauma areas
• Common patient diagnoses include strokes, sepsis, AMS, neuro intervention, respiratory failure, CHF, post-STEMI, cardiogenic shock, AAA, and trauma
• Specialty equipment used includes IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage), ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, and TTM (Arctic Sun)
