Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac/Telemetry

Job Details:

• Day shift position working 36 hours per week
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required
• BSN degree preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• EPIC electronic health records experience required
• Holiday RTO will not be approved
• Required certifications: BLS (from AHA-approved vendor per policy), ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Current RN licensure in state of practice required
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe and caring environment
• Provide health education and information to patients, families, and treatment team
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
