Opportunity:

RN - Float Pool (Surge)

Job Details:

• Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours of 36 per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must be able to float to other units within the facility
• Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Cardiac experience required
• Patient ratio averages 1:7
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), NIH, and VA State License or Compact
• Scrub color: Navy Blue per dress code policy
• Up to 3 days of pre-approved time off accommodated as long as it does not fall during a holiday
• No block scheduling will be accommodated

This 495-bed facility is designated as a Level II Trauma Center and has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for 10 consecutive years. The facility operates large units with at least 30 beds per unit and maintains an average patient ratio of 1:7. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality acute care services and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
