Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2184.68

Opportunity:

RN - NICU

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Care for Level II NICU admissions and normal newborns 32 weeks gestational age or greater
• Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries, including high-risk deliveries
• Manage CPAP/BiPAP respiratory support
• Utilize feeding tubes and syringe pumps
• Perform feedings including bottle, breast, and gavage
• Perform neonatal dosage calculations
• Manage placement and care of oral, nasogastric, and nasojejunal tubes
• Ventilator management including AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BiPAP/PEEP
• NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they already have the skill and competencies
• Floating to other facilities is rare but possible if staffing needs require
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Compact nursing license must be in hand at time of submission
