Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Variable schedule with 36-48 hours per week
• Mostly night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
• Collect and analyze relevant patient data to determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
• Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
• Provide health information and learning opportunities to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy)
• Current RN licensure in state of practice required
