Opportunity:

MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Primarily mid shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Occasional day shift or evening shift coverage may be required based on staffing needs
• Technologists will not be scheduled past 9:30 PM
• Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend shifts
• No on-call requirements and no overnight shifts
• Perform high-quality MRI examinations on inpatient and outpatient populations
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and exceptional customer service throughout the imaging process
• Collaborate effectively with MRI technologists, nursing staff, charge technologists, and MRI safety personnel
• Follow department protocols and maintain compliance with MRI safety standards
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Hospital-based MRI experience required
• Siemens MRI experience required, including XA30 software experience
• Experience with Siemens MRI Scanners including 3T VIDA and 1.5T SOLA
• Experience with Siemens XA platform preferred; current environment utilizes XA60
• IV insertion and IV skill competency is a plus
• Experience supporting both inpatient and outpatient MRI workflows preferred
• Strong customer service mindset and teamwork-driven approach required
• Charting system: EPIC (required)
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• Scrub color: Any shade of blue
• Patient age groups: Adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

This acute care hospital features 438 staffed beds and supports a dynamic clinical environment serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. The facility operates a robust MRI department equipped with Siemens scanners and supported by a collaborative team including staff technologists, charge technologists, an MRI Safety Officer, and registered nurses.
