Opportunity:

RN - Rehab/Med Surg

Job Details:

• Primary position will be in the Rehab unit with potential float to Med/Surg as needed
• Render professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit
• Provide comprehensive clinical documentation including care plans each shift
• Communicate patient information through bedside shift report, multidisciplinary rounds, and hourly rounding (AIDET)
• Participate in daily unit-based safety huddles
• Actively participate in quality initiatives and performance improvement to improve patient outcomes
• Remain current with unit-based nurse sensitive indicators such as CAUTI, CLABSI, CDIFF, HAPU, falls, hand hygiene, and VAE
• Effectively delegate aspects of care and unit activities to other nursing personnel
• Collaborate with nursing students, instructors, and interdisciplinary team members
• Serve as preceptor for new nurses when needed
• Complete dysrhythmia course prior to completion of orientation
• Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or must be obtained prior to completion of orientation
• Current New Hampshire RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Graduate of an approved nursing program preferred
• Up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract may be cancelled
