Opportunity:

RN - Critical Care

Job Details:

• Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Full-time position
• Experience with CABGs, post cardiothoracic surgery recovery fresh out of OR required
• Experience with IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT required
• Experience managing high acuity patients with multiple comorbidities and drips required
• Previous experience with Epic preferred
• Provides routine and complex nursing care, practicing independently in a clinical setting
• Administers medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitors for side effects
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed
• Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of experience in a Critical Care setting preferred; new graduates will be considered
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Current ACLS certification required (AHA only)
• Active RN license in the state of TX or compact license required
