Opportunity:
MRI Technologist
Job Details:
• Day shift, 10-hour shifts with start times between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM; 8-hour shifts may be discussed
• Weekend call required from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Saturdays typically staffed)
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Perform MRI procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams; no cardiac MRI
• Operate GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima MRI equipment
• Perform image post-processing including apparent diffusion coefficient mapping and subtraction
• Administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations; adolescent experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required; at least 2 years of overall experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Required certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (R)(MRI) preferred, BLS, California Radiologic Technologist Certification, and California IV certification preferred
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility
• 2 professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years

The imaging department is equipped with GE 1.5T MRI systems and supports a broad range of diagnostic imaging services including neurological, musculoskeletal, abdominal, and breast imaging.
