Opportunity:
RN - Oncology
Job Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Outpatient ambulatory clinic setting
• Serve as a port/lab nurse seeing approximately 20-25 patients over the course of an 8-hour shift
• Facility typically has 65-90 patients scheduled per day
• Oncology chemotherapy and biotherapy experience required
• Ambulatory clinic experience preferred
• Phone triage experience preferred
• 2 years of experience required in specialty
• May float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby
• Maximum of 24 hours approved for time off per 13-week contract; requested days must be communicated to management prior to start
• Required certifications: BLS
• Required skills: BMT, Infusion Center, Inpatient Oncology, Outpatient Oncology, Pediatric Oncology, Radiation Oncology
• Compliance requirements include: Math exam, Med/Surg Competency exam, Oncology Competency exam, Med/Surg skills, Oncology skills, and CORE exams
• Compact or Kentucky State License required
